In the name of extreme helpfulness, two men just came to my room with a huge dismantled bookcase. Never mind that I was assured they would come towards the end of the week, giving me time to actually change around my room completely while still being able to do my work for Wednesday. I know it is all meant well and I do appreciate it, but still, I feel like crying.
I might just eat that chocolate Mr. G. left behind...
(The men, by the way, have left the bits of wardrobe behind and are coming back Thursday to put it together for me)

Wow! thats a lot of stuff to happen in one day. Hope you're ok my dearie and all that damp isnt affecting your health. Take care of yourself.
yay for bookcases. Book collections need to be properly displayed so that us english students can feel smug about how well read we are.
Glad youre enjoying the Cash

Bah Humbug!
I still have no idea how to rearrange my furniture, and it's bugging me so much I am finding it hard to concentrate on my work! I have to both keep in mind the new bookcase and the wet walls, sigh...
And yes, my walls are still wet, so I don't see the point of keeping the heating on.
How strange, where is all the damp coming from? Is there a secret river running under your floor? Has the house just been built, but not properly dried before putting the people in?
Keeping the heating on can help with damp, although it sounds more like wetness than dampness. Maybe you need a ventilator (NL) too. To create a drying wind, or storm.
The damp is in fact the tears of Penhall weeping over the fact you're no longer available. He thinks you dont love him and clavo anymore

Mama - I think the damp comes from it being an old house with no insulation whatsoever, but I have finally come up with a way of changing my room around that will work. around it, I will post pics on Thursday or Friday
Lizzy - Awww, poor Penhall (and Clavo).... I feel bad now...
*sniffle* WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Don't cry Penhall, if you come to my place I will drop everything to be with you and Clavo forever...
