Mummy

No Boris, not the scary one wrapped in bandages, which you would expect form me, but my dear mother who lives in Germany. She just wrote a comment that there is not much on my blog, which is true. And especially stupid as I told her to read it so she knows more about my life. So here goes, mama.
Today is another very hot day in Coventry. Me and MyLovelyBoyfriend are spending as much time as we can together because he is going back home on Sunday... So on Monday we had a really cool picnic in the huge park near our house, and yesterday we changed my room around and threw out all my old magazines (A LOT) but kept the recipes, and today we did, ehm, not very much except stocking up for our little party/bbq tomorrow. Only one of my friends so far is coming, but some old housemates are coming so that is good, and otherwise we just have more food, haha. We had to buy some disposable bbqs as well, so I hope they work. I also bought a really cool outfit to wear, but my flipflops have given me blisters so I can't walk, yay.
Also, this morning I got a phone call from a lady from the Unitemps agency in Birmingham to say she needed native dutch speakers for some job. I signed up with this agency last summer and haven't looked at it it in about a year or so, so I was bit surprised to hear from them. The work involves phoning up dutch families who live in HOLLAND, from BIRMINGHAM, to ask them what they thought of this computer game they bought some time ago. They need native dutch people with a good command of english and they pay 6.90 pounds an hour. (to compare: I earn 5.47 per hour at my current job and this other one is only slightly less intelligent) So I phoned up my job to see if I could work extra hours there during the summer, but they 'can't commit to anything', so I've accepted the job, and the induction is next monday, so... exciting!! (or, you know, mildly interesting). But I do have to change my details on this agency's website cos I think they have my old address and I do want to get my money! It is in the evening in Brimingham, but it should be okay because it is only till somewhere in August and it should still be light. Also, I can borrow a bike, so I can zoom past the chavs and other scary people.
I don't think anything else mildly interesting has happened so far, but my room does look very cool now. Unfortunately, the two (wow! 2 more than I expected!!) people who read this blog have never seen my room before, and will thus have no frame of reference. But my wardrobe now blocks the old blu-tack marks, and the room even looks bigger!!! And it is tidy, but I doubt that will last long.
Anyways, I have to go eat dinner and then SING till about 10 pm tonight. I don't know the new songs because I went home and I haven't got the music for one, which I knew before but the director has changed SO MUCH it is now unrecognisable. Grrrr. Although it does sound nicer now. But in any case, I am going o SUCK tonight and blame it on the weather!!
Is this better, mama?

it's hot here too (AAAAAAH!) and tomorrow it's going to be hot and REALLY rainy (AAAAAAH!) and then it's going to be sunny but also a lot colder (AA... oh wait, that's good!).

Kudos on the new job!! Mine's starting next weekend only I still have no idea what I'll be doing....

Oh and I think I figured out a hotelroom in Milan for you and YourLovelyBoyfriend: double room, 80 bucks and you can cancel till 24 hours before.

not quite, it's pretty much impossible trying to find a hotel that's near the central station, but the subway stops nearby which should all work out. I'll mail you all the stuff tomorrow (crappy computer right now).
